CROATIA

Betina

Because of its geographical location and its well-preserved architecture, Betina, one of the four scenic spots on the island of Murter, ranks as one of the most beautiful places on the Adriatic.

The island of Murter belongs to the North Dalmatian island group, the densest group of islands in the Adriatic and in the Mediterranean, and is located in the north-western part of the Šibenik archipelago and the Šibenik‑Knin district. As well as the well-known pebble and sand beaches of Slanica, Kosirina, Čigrađe, Podvrške, Lovišće etc., the island possesses also many small, hidden bays which invite you in for wonderful visits.

Marina & Yachting Development has been operating from the Betina Marina since 2008. The well cared-for marina offers full facilities and a good starting-point in one of the world’s most beautiful sailing areas.

GREECE

Achillio

Achillio is a small, idyllic fishing-village in the north Aegean and has, for many years now, been a favourite starting-point for cruises in the world of the Sporades.

The Northern Sporades are notable mainly for the numerous islands and their beautiful bays for swimming in.   As well as the main islands of Skiathos, Skopelos, Alonissos and Skyros that invite visitors to stay and enjoy their rich gastronomy and beautiful old towns, the small islands and bays, especially, are absolutely worth seeing. As the islands lie very close one to the other and can be reached in short stages, this area is also especially well-suited to a sailing trip with the whole family.

The sailing season is from April thru October with temperatures averaging between 22°C and 28°C and the water temperatures ranging from 22°C to 27°C. The prevailing winds are from the northern sector. The well-known Meltemi winds are mainly passing on the NE side of the Sporades and are not as strong as they can be in the Southern Aegean / Cyclades Islands or along the Turkish coast.

On your check-in we will advise you and suggest the possible routes to suit your preferences !
